Juan Fernández

JUAN FERNÁNDEZ is one of the most unforgettable Latin actors of his generation. Having starred in classic films like Oliver Stone’s Salvador, Crocodile Dundee II and The Lost City he has earned a reputation as one of Hollywood’s favorite bad guys. Juan’s more recent films include The Collector, La Soga (the first Dominican feature to screen at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival), Tropico de Sangre and Hostias with Geraldine Chaplin, Maria Grazia Cucinotta and directed by Diego Musiak. In 2007, Juan created Monos en la Montaña, Inc., with the mission to create new classic films. Under the umbrella of MELM, he will begin pre-production on his directorial debut, El Gallo in early 2011.
